Greetings CDC+ Participants,
Having recently attended some training provided by the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) for participants and representatives of consumers joining the Consumer Directed Care+ program, it struck me that we all have a lot to share in trying to make sure we receive the services our children with special needs so desperately need.
As a consumer directed program, it is up to us, the participants and representatives to learn how to secure and pay for these services.
It is the intent of this blog to provide a venue to share best practices and provide support to each other. It is not our intent, nor will we participate in attacks on APD or the program. That serves no purpose for those of us trying to help our children. If you have a problem with APD, please address it with them.
